Dr. Tony T.Y. Kim

Dr. Tony T.Y. Kim received with Honours a Bachelor of Science with distinction and Master of Science at the University of Toronto. He also received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Western Ontario.  During his dental training, Dr. Kim received the Canadian Academy of Endodontics Award for excellence in performing root canal treatments.

Upon completion of his dental school, Dr. Kim pursued a general practice residency program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, faculty of dentistry, University of Toronto.  He pursued this program in order to enhance clinical skills and advance his knowledge. As a dental resident he helped to provide services to hospital inpatients and outpatients in following areas: oral and maxillofacial surgery, oral medicine and pathology, general dental care for medically compromised patients, and outpatient deep sedation/anesthesia for patients with special needs. In addition, he had an opportunity to provide general dental care to native children in norther Ontario. He also received advanced cardiac life support and IV sedation certificates during this residency.

Dr. Kim enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to providing his patients with the highest standard of dental care.  He also believes in life time learning and is committed to updating his clinical skills throughout his career.  He is currently a fellow at the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, and an executive member of Ontario Dental Association.
